Habitat for Humanity International brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resounces to build decent, affordable houses.
Apply for a Home


    To qualify for a Habitat house there has to be:

    1st - Need for Shelter - You need to demonstrate you are in need of housing and are currently living in overcrowded, temporary, or substandard housing; or that you are at risk of losing housing for any reason.

    2nd - Willingness to Partner - You need to be willing to complete 350/450 hours of "Sweat Equity" of construction on other homes, as well as your own home.  

    3rd - Ability to Pay - BAHFH will sell the house to you at cost of land and materials.  You will  have an interest free loan repayable over twenty to thirty years. The monthly payments include homeowners insurance and property/city taxes.
