The Bayou Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore needs your donations.........of almost any items you take out of your home.  Items that we accept are doors, windows, cabinets (kitchen or other) and working appliances ( 10 years or less), furniture, paintings, lamps, holiday items, household items, linens, kitchenware, etc., with the exception of clothing and computer hardware.  Most donations to the ReStore come from individuals and retailers/manufacturers who have overstocked or gently damaged inventory that they cannot sell.

Donors to the Bayou Area Habitat ReStore are not only helping a great cause, but also receive a tax receipt to be used for a possible tax deduction.  All donated items are then sold at discounted prices (about 50% to 70% off retail prices) to the general public with all proceeds from the ReStore help Bayou Area Habitat to continue its mission in the community of building houses... building lives by helping to provide safe, decent, affordable housing for families in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes.  The ReStore also provides environmental help--donating helps keep tons of items out of landfills.  Equally important, your donations will go back into the community to help people who are upgrading their homes.
